As a translator, I work with the written word, specialising in healthcare materials for the international development sector. I mainly work from French into English, as well as from Spanish and Portuguese into English.

In addition to being a trained and qualified translator, I am an experienced charity communications professional.

I can tell your charity’s or your beneficiaries’ story in the engaging way you need. Areas of expertise include grant applications, charity impact reports, press releases and donor communications.

I am a native English speaker with a great eye for detail. I can help you feel confident that your English-language document gives the right impression and says exactly what you want to say, how you want to say it.

I can also help other translators with revising and editing - just get in touch for more information and rates.

After several years working with some amazing household name charities (and for some smaller but no less inspirational causes), I have the skills and passion your organisation needs to succeed in philanthropy fundraising.

I can help you design or re-design your fundraising strategy, write impactful communications that lead to meaningful dialogues with prospective donors, get your trustee board personally invested in supporting your fundraising - and

much more.

If all you need is a translation returned to you in a classic Word document - no problem! But if you use computer-assisted translation (CAT) software, I work with SDL Trados Studio, among others, and I have a qualification in Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE) and terminology management.

Lorraine Worsley MBE DL, Countess Publicists

"I just love the way you write - in a style and tone that is very well matched to our organisation's communication style.  You always follow the brief, ask questions when you aren't sure of something, and are polite and courteous - you are very easy to work with!
